BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE DASHBOARDS AND REPORTS

A BI dashboard presents key indicators and alarms through an easily accessible tool, in a way that can be read at a glance, allowing you to react to changing conditions in real time. BI Reports give a more detailed review of what’s happened over the past week or month, letting you step back to see the bigger picture and make future business decisions accordingly.

Business Intelligence uses data warehousing to bring together all the different databases and archives, from all your different business units and locations, to find common facts, identify trends and detect problems before they manifest. But none of this is useful without a way to present this information in a concise, human-readable format.Â
BI Reports can be designed to scan through all your warehoused data for information relevant information and generate a report for delivery to the relevant decision makers and stakeholders. Each report can be as detailed or concise as necessary, detailing performance according to industry standard metrics or KPI’s. They can be highly specific, to monitor the performance of critical focus areas or known trouble spots, or they can aggregate data from a number of sources to give a more strategic aerial view of an entire department of business. BCX’s BI reporting ensures that everybody gets the information they need, in detail, at reliable intervals.
BI Dashboards present more immediate information. Like the instruments in a cockpit, they provide a simplified view of time sensitive and mission critical metrics. These might include warning lights to indicate a stoppage on a production line, live graphs of network traffic to an eCommerce server, or a counter showing the number of unresolved support tickets. Dashboards can be customized for each user, so that each is only alerted to problems that are relevant to them and can be viewed from any device so that critical status information is always available at a glance.Â
