As part of our strategy to re-invent the customer experience, BCX has embarked on a Certification Roadmap to drive ISO Quality, defined Processes and Information Security Standards. To achieve this, we have a Certification Team in place that will focus on implementing ISO and other industry required certifications and drive continual improvement.

BCX have the following Certifications

01 - BCX ISO Certifications

ISO 9001: The Quality Management System of the Enterprise Cloud and Infrastructure Solutions Division includes Shared Services and Processes within Business Connexion (PTY) Ltd, include the provision of Enterprise Cloud Services to external Enterprise Customers from BCX Facilities within South Africa.

ISO 20 000: The (IT) Service Management System of the Managed Services Business Unit within Business Connexion (PTY) Ltd, is used to support the provision of the Enterprise Cloud Service to external Enterprise Customers.

02 - BCX Data Centres

BCX has three, Tier 4 and one, Tier 3 Design Certified Data Centre's as audited by the Uptime Institute, amounting to over 16 000 m2 of hosting space.

03 - BCX PCI Compliance
BCX are currently Payment Card Industry (PCI) Security Standard complaint within 7 it’s 9 Data Centre’s around the country.

Thereby protecting the interest of National Payment Systems for several major retailers in South Africa, and enabling most of the leading national banking institutions in South Africa.

04 - BCX ITIL Maturity

BCX has the distinction of having an ITIL Rating at 4.1 across 21 processes in its Service Management processes. Considered to be the highest rating within Africa and amongst the top rated within the IT Sector globally according to PinkScan.

ITIL 4,10 Rating: The assessment was performed in May 2020 across IT Service Management Processes as applied to deliver IT services to BCX customers.
